Website Terms of Use

Terms governing access to and use of the Omnium Editions website.

Draft for legal review · Last updated 6 October 2026

Operator and acceptance

This website is intended to be operated from Ireland by Omnium Editions. The full legal operator details remain to be inserted before launch. By using the site, visitors agree to these terms; if they do not agree, they should stop using it.

Nothing here excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Information-only catalogue

Books, covers, publication plans, markets, dates and availability may change. A listing is not an offer, promise of publication, stock statement or guarantee. This site does not currently accept orders or payments. Any purchase takes place with the independent retailer identified at the destination, under that retailer’s contract and policies.

Permitted use

Visitors may browse and link to public pages for lawful personal use. They must not interfere with security or operation; introduce malicious code; scrape at a volume that impairs service; bypass access controls; misrepresent affiliation; use content to train or populate a competing commercial service without permission; or infringe rights.

Automated indexing by ordinary search engines is permitted subject to published technical controls.

Intellectual property

The site, branding, layouts, editorial text and commissioned artwork are protected by copyright, trade mark and other rights. Public-domain status of an underlying literary work does not make Omnium Editions’ edition design, introduction, typography or artwork public domain. See the Copyright Notice.

Links and third parties

External links are provided for convenience. Omnium Editions does not control independent retailers or third-party sites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, pricing or fulfilment. A link is not an endorsement unless expressly stated.

Availability and liability

The site is provided on an “as available” basis. Reasonable care will be used, but uninterrupted or error-free access is not guaranteed. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Omnium Editions is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from website use.

Nothing excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability or statutory remedy that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Irish law and mandatory local rights

These terms and non-contractual disputes are governed by Irish law and, subject to mandatory rights, the Irish courts have jurisdiction. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protection or access to courts and regulators available under the law of their habitual residence, including in the EU/EEA, UK, United States, Canada or Australia.

Changes and severability

Material changes will be dated and published here. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue.
