Legal information
Copyright Notice
Copyright, trade mark and permitted-use information for Omnium Editions content and artwork.
Draft for legal review · Last updated 6 October 2026
Protected material
Unless stated otherwise, copyright in this website’s original editorial text, commissioned illustrations, cover concepts, photography, selection, arrangement, typography and interface belongs to Omnium Editions or its licensors. The Omnium Editions name, wordmark and visual identity may also be protected as trade marks or passing-off rights.
Public-domain works
Many underlying literary texts may be public domain in some countries. Copyright duration and status differ by jurisdiction and edition. Public-domain status of an underlying work does not extend to a new introduction, translation, annotation, editorial apparatus, cover, illustration, typesetting or digital presentation.
Permitted use
Visitors may view the site, make transient technical copies and print a reasonable extract for personal, non-commercial reference. Statutory exceptions—including fair dealing, fair use, quotation, criticism, review, research, education, parody and accessible-format rights—remain available where their legal conditions are met.
Permission required
Except where law permits, visitors may not reproduce substantial content, remove rights notices, sell or license artwork, create merchandise, distribute cover files, use branding to imply endorsement, or republish the catalogue at scale without written permission.
Rights concerns
A rights-notification contact must be inserted before launch. A notice should identify the protected work, disputed material and URL, the notifier’s contact details, the basis of the claim, and any relevant authority to act. Omnium Editions will review complete notices and take proportionate action while respecting lawful exceptions and countervailing rights.
Territorial scope
Copyright is territorial. Irish and EU law govern operation of this site, while rights and exceptions may also arise under UK, US, Canadian, Australian and other local laws. Nothing here contracts out of non-waivable statutory exceptions.
